Bosch has developed the diagnostic tool TPA 200 for the diagnosis and service of TPMS tyre valves. The TPA 200 allows the reliable testing of TPMS sensors and the configuration of TPMS universal valves.

Further to its use in professional tyre service, the TPA 200 can also be used in vehicle reception and is also compatible with direct TPMS as an addition to ESI[tronic] and KTS control unit diagnosis.

Functions of TPA 200

• Activation of Schrader-sensors
• Activation and check of TPMS-sensors incl. display of TPMS-sensor info
• Programming of universal-sensors (e.g. Schrader EZ-Sensor, Alligator Sens.it)
• Specific TPMS-Sensor Audit-Functions (1 to max. 100 vehicles)
• Workshop specific workflows (e.g. order number, registration etc.)
• Wireless data transfer (via Bluetooth)

Functions of TPA Startcenter (content of supply of TPA 200)

• Vehicle-database for direct TPMS-Systems
• Sensor Information (e.g. Torque values)
• TPA 200 Update function
• Protocol function
• Upload / Edit of TPA 200 multiple vehicle data

• Support of known ESI[tronic] 2.0 languages

ESI[tronic] 2.0 with TPMS specific software (Available at an additional cost)

ESI[tronic] 2.0 is established in the market and includes software for vehicles with direct and indirect TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System). ESI[tronic] 2.0 provides key functions and data to the TPMS such as:

• Reading and deletion of fault codes
• Display of actual values such as sensor codes and tyre pressure
• Adjustments or settings such as teaching-in of TPMS sensors
• Performance of service tasks specific to TPMS or tyres
• Mechanical information concerning tyres and rims
• Technical information (SIS) for TPMS
